Nadine Williams finds time to volunteerĀ at various Citizenship and Immigration Canada Citizenship ceremonies, reading her poem THE IMMIGRANT CHILD, singing the national anthem, and welcoming new Canadians by gifting them with the Canadian flag. She has a scholarship that she offers students entering into a Literary or Arts degree program through the Jamaican Canadian Association, donates part proceeds of her book sales to Peel Children’s Centre and reads poetry, tells storiesĀ and serves dinner to women and children at various women’s shelters throughout the GTA.
